PRAESI app: privacy

PRAESI Technologies Ltd · Aigeos 3, Egkomi, Nicosia 2413, Cyprus · HE 483138 · Last updated 2 October 2026

The short version: the PRAESI app itself collects no personal data. It has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking. On Android, the optional card scan relies on a Google component; see Camera below.

What the app stores on your device

Network

When you are online, the app reads the public news feed at praesi.ai and downloads any new articles and their images. No identifiers or personal information are sent.

Camera

The camera is used only when you open "Scan a PRAESI business card", to recognise the printed card and play the films on it. Recognition runs on your device. No images or video are recorded, stored or uploaded. On Android, the card scan uses Google Play Services for AR (ARCore). When you use the card scan, Google may collect device identifiers, diagnostic and usage information about the AR session for its own analytics, as described in Google's ARCore privacy requirements and Google's privacy policy. PRAESI does not receive this information. If you never open the card scan, ARCore is not used.

Email and phone

"Request a briefing" opens a draft in your own email app, and phone numbers open your phone app. Nothing is sent unless you send it yourself. If you email us, we use your message only to reply.

Children

The app is suitable for all ages. The app itself collects no data from anyone.
